Framework Engineering Validation Program

Purpose

Discovery is complete enough to justify Validation.

The goal is to test whether the current Theory of Framework Engineering survives adversarial review.

This program exists to determine which claims deserve to survive.

It does not exist to confirm Framework Engineering.

It exists to discover whether the theory is wrong, incomplete, unnecessary, or already explained by existing disciplines.

Claims Under Test

• Identity and Capability are useful separate dimensions.
• Structured redesign improves traceability and evidence handling.
• A finite primitive reasoning vocabulary may exist.
• Procedural reasoning and execution or coordination grammars may be distinct.
• Framework Engineering may function as a characterization and redesign methodology.

Adversarial Questions

For every claim:

• What would make this false?
• What simpler explanation exists?
• What existing discipline already explains this?
• What evidence is currently weakest?
• What experiment would change our mind?

Validation Standard

A claim survives only if:

• independent replication exists or is underway
• competing explanations have been directly challenged
• falsification conditions are explicit
• limitations remain visible

If those conditions are not met, the claim should remain weak, be revised, or be suspended.

Publication Gate

Do not publish strong claims until:

• independent replication exists
• competing explanations are addressed
• falsification criteria are documented
• limitations are explicit

Current Posture

Prefer weakening claims over strengthening them.

If a simpler explanation survives, keep the simpler explanation.
